Next... I've been MAJORLY debating weather to Self-Publish my next trilogy. I really don't want to seem like I'm a "one-book" author, and people have been asking me when the next one's coming out. If it gets picked up, it probably won't be getting out until sometime next year. So... I'm heavily contemplating self-publishing again. hmmmmmmm? Any comments on that... PLEASE leave them below. :)
Speaking of promoting... If you want to meet some of the voices-in-my-head, head over to Rainy Day Ramblings for a multi-character interview and Giveaway... and you can check out a Guest Post I did for Keeping Up with the Rheinlander's on the changing of the cover.
Until I figure out what I'm going to do with my next project, I'll keep writing, and I'll let you know as soon as I make a decision!!! :) Hope you're having a great day!!!

Ah...to self-publish or not to self-publish..lol
ReplyDeleteI think it is a matter of what is best for you and your book. Self-publishing will allow you to get the book out faster rather then wait on a traditional publisher to pick it up. It also allows you to keep more of the profit from selling books.
There is always the option to self-publish the new series and submit In My Dreams to a traditional publisher to see if it gets picked up if you are wanting to have something through a publisher. That is becoming common with self-published authors these days.
I know for me and my series I am going the self-publishing route. Mainly because I've been sitting on book 1 for so long that I feel like I need to get it out there rather then wait to see if someone wants it. Then if it gets picked up by a traditional publisher later, I can cross that bridge if needed.
Just trust your instincts and do what you feel is best.
Thanks SO much Jaidis! <3 I think you've verbalized what's been in my head and heart for the past few weeks. It feels like a major decision, but you're right. I don't want to sit on these for too long. :)
