Excerpt:
I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, I was going to die
tonight. There was no escaping it or any way around it. I couldn’t run from my
destiny this time; I couldn’t hide. No, tonight I faced my fate in the chambers
of death. The screams of the crowd in the arena filled my ears, the shouts of
excitement and laughter boiling my heart down to nothing but untainted sorrow.
I refused to open my eyes, but I could sense where I was by that rusty smell of
metal and dried blood Father brought home with him every day. The shackles that
bound my ankles and wrists to the wall confirmed it. I was a prisoner in my own
home, my own Haven. I couldn’t fathom how in forty-eight hours my life had
taken a complete three-sixty spin, but here I was, locked in the dungeon of my
father’s kingdom, hidden from the world until it was my time to surface.

Hello, Nadege! :)
So...Your book has just been contracted to become
a movie. Who would be your first choice to play the lead role(s)?
First of all: Hello lovely Cameo! First time
visiting your blog, and I’m already feeling at home! :)
If Burning Bridges was actually contracted
(and this is a big IF…but I’m hopeful!) I think I’d pick…
-Odetto Yutman as Echo Abbeny
-Amber Heard as Isobeli
-Michael Copon as Adamo
-Carla Gugino as Arielle Abbeny
-Diane Kruger as Shadow Abbeny
-Jackson Rathbone as Ayden Grey
And
that’s only the beginning of it! I picture these people mostly because when I
write, they are the first people that usually spring into my head. I think
every author has their dream cast, but no cast is perfect or a guaranteed. I’ve
chosen the people in my dream cast either because they look the part or I know
they can act the part. With Jackson, it’s both! Of course my cast is constantly
changing, but who knows? Maybe Burning Bridges will make it to the Big Screen
someday. ;)
Great post!!! That would be such an awesome cast, and I'd love to watch that movie!!!
I can't wait to read your novels, Nadge, and wish you much success!!! Thank you again for visiting!!!
